A piece of my mind 2012
His voice gets to unbelievelable hights. Impressive.
Uganda counts as one of the most homophobic countries on earth. Vicious press campaigns, unsavoury political leverage of inflamed popular feelings led to the death of severay gay people in this central African country.
It took ages to download on my computer and I had time to answer an e-mail or two, instead of staring at a blank screen. But it was worth the while when it finally came up. Funny, with nice blokes and nice photography.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
John McCrae
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
