Lost painting

Leda and the Swan, a lost painting by Gustav Klimt.

We came across it as we we were looking for pictures in a story we are running in Dutch in our diary (dagboek) about sexual child abuse within families.

So the idea came to illustrate it with historic paintings which involve children and animals.

Greek mythology is rife with storys about forbidden relations in which the Gods take the form of an animal to seduce mortals, as is the case with Leda, who got impregnated by Zeus disguised as a Swan.
