The corona crisis: fortunately, it is not all doom and gloom. Sometimes it also brings out the best in people. For example, on March 26, we received a particularly beautiful response to the sonnet of the day from a loyal fan. We don’t want to withhold them from you and publish them here:

To live alone with memory.
I don’t know how to say it right.
It surely brings the mind no peace,
and is a cause for bitterness as well,

But what Lord Van Babylon does quite:
he often grants me reverie.
Goes further day by day in this,
and I indulge in his delight.

He sends me Rumi paired with Hafiz,
Pasquino accompanied by Marforio;
and never is it what it is.

Sometimes droll and playful so,
but thrilling nonetheless,
I wish, and always he does steal the show.
