New phase

My husband, who wishes to remain unknown, is taking a healthcare management course. I’m sort of looking over his shoulder. There really are ideas for the taking in his syllabus. I’m going to try and apply some of those ideas to our project just for fun, starting with the .com website.

We will pro-acctively put on the glasses of process management. The processes we need to manage will involve multiple procedures that we need to automate as much as possible to achieve high efficiency. This will require algorithms and protocols that will have to be lean and austere.

The intention is to create a website where something happens every day. A fully automated literature factory, based on an endless process of perpetual quality improvement, drawing from our rich archive and opening up the content.

To keep a closer eye on ourselves, we will set smart goals: specific, measurable, actual, realistic and tied to a well-defined deadline. I give us a year to build a website that can maintain itself autonomously. There’s a lot involved in that. We’re going to summarize here, to design a vision for the future.
