La rapidit\u00e9 d\u2019intervention est importante, car il faut saisir le moment o\u00f9 la motivation se manifeste. Tr\u00e8s souvent, des probl\u00e8mes se pr\u00e9sentent \u00e0 nous que l\u2019on ne peut r\u00e9soudre qu\u2019en revenant sans cesse \u00e0 la discussion. En tant que m\u00e9decin g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste, je dispose g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de trop peu de temps pour mener des conversations approfondies.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u2019est souvent frustrant. Lorsque cette personne peut alors \u00eatre rapidement prise en charge de mani\u00e8re s\u00e9rieuse par un psychologue qui \u00e9coute et ne juge pas \u2014 c\u2019est un peu mon mantra \u2014, c\u2019est un immense soulagement pour nous. Cela ne nuit en rien \u00e0 la relation th\u00e9rapeutique que nous entretenons, en tant que m\u00e9decins g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes, avec la personne concern\u00e9e, \u00e0 notre propre niveau.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bien au contraire. En tant que m\u00e9decin g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste, j\u2019essaie de cr\u00e9er et de saisir les occasions de pr\u00e9parer le terrain, en accomplissant moi-m\u00eame d\u00e9j\u00e0 une part du travail psychoth\u00e9rapeutique et en rendant certaines choses dicibles. Ou en optant pour une approche m\u00e9dicamenteuse. Toujours en concertation.<\/span><\/p>\n

La personne doit \u00eatre pr\u00eate \u00e0 dire ce qui n\u2019a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 dit. Cela ne se fait pas sans heurts et il faut tenir compte de la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019encaissement de la personne qui se trouve devant vous avec son secret, lequel doit pour l\u2019instant rester intact. Il doit m\u00fbrir et il faut le traiter avec beaucoup de pr\u00e9caution. Dans un nombre \u00e9tonnamment \u00e9lev\u00e9 de cas, nous pourrons alors r\u00e9duire la d\u00e9pendance, sinon la r\u00e9soudre, en proposant une aide professionnelle comp\u00e9tente.<\/span><\/p>\n
