L\u2019organisme r\u00e9agit comme un tout organis\u00e9 au champ d\u2019exp\u00e9rience, \u00e0 partir des perceptions qu\u2019il est capable d\u2019effectuer. Le moi na\u00eet de cette interaction permanente, lorsqu\u2019une partie de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle se d\u00e9limite pour constituer le corps. Le \u00ab moi \u00bb est structur\u00e9 et organis\u00e9, mais aussi fluide et adaptable dans certaines limites.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019aspiration fondamentale de tout individu est de se r\u00e9aliser, de se maintenir et de se perfectionner en tant qu\u2019organisme vivant l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et conscient. Le comportement est fondamentalement une tentative orient\u00e9e vers un but, visant \u00e0 satisfaire ses propres besoins tels qu\u2019on les \u00e9prouve ou tels qu\u2019on les per\u00e7oit. Le meilleur point de vue pour comprendre le comportement d\u2019une personne consiste \u00e0 partir du cadre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019individu.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019interaction entre l\u2019individu et son environnement, mais aussi celle qui se produit entre la personne qui demande des soins et le professionnel qui l\u2019accompagne, s\u2019accompagne d\u2019\u00e9motions et s\u2019inscrit dans un comportement orient\u00e9 vers un but, qui vise \u00e0 maintenir et \u00e0 perfectionner l\u2019organisme. Ce que nous voulons, c\u2019est davantage de contr\u00f4le sur l\u2019espace et le temps, mais nous voulons aussi r\u00e9aliser certaines valeurs que nous avons h\u00e9rit\u00e9es de nos parents et de nos anc\u00eatres, ou que nous avons nous-m\u00eames forg\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n

Normalement, nous assimilons assez ais\u00e9ment nos exp\u00e9riences et leur donnons une place au sein d\u2019un moi qui se construit sans cesse et qui est souverain sous la calotte cr\u00e2nienne. Certaines exp\u00e9riences sont trop douloureuses ou trop difficiles \u00e0 int\u00e9grer et se retrouvent alors encapsul\u00e9es, o\u00f9 elles se d\u00e9veloppent en abc\u00e8s qui, plus tard, se mettent \u00e0 suppurer.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019adaptation psychologique se produit lorsque l\u2019image de soi relie symboliquement toutes les exp\u00e9riences sensorielles et int\u00e9rieures de l\u2019organisme dans un ensemble coh\u00e9rent et porteur de sens en rapport avec l\u2019image de soi. Le malaise psychique appara\u00eet lorsque cette coh\u00e9rence signifiante est menac\u00e9e ou lorsque les propres valeurs de l\u2019individu entrent en conflit avec celles de son environnement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si l\u2019individu peut int\u00e9grer toutes ses perceptions sensorielles et int\u00e9rieures dans une structure du moi coh\u00e9rente, il comprendra in\u00e9vitablement mieux les autres et les acceptera comme des individus distincts.<\/span><\/p>\n
