Le psychotique ne raconte pas une histoire. Il est une histoire. Il faut alors se demander quel r\u00f4le tu peux y jouer. La relation avec le psychotique qui vit dans un monde d\u00e9lirant et est en proie \u00e0 des id\u00e9es d\u00e9lirantes renvoie l\u2019aidant \u00e0 lui-m\u00eame, car tu commences \u00e0 douter de ce qui est vrai et de ce qui ne l\u2019est pas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La personne qui demande de l\u2019aide est la source du subjectif, du ressenti, tandis que l\u2019aidant manie la mesure objective, le savoir et la science. Facile \u00e0 dire. Philosophiquement, c\u2019est une construction particuli\u00e8rement fragile. Nous pouvons, en tant qu\u2019aidants, \u00eatre convaincus de d\u00e9tenir la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de pouvoir d\u00e9cider de ce qui constitue la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, mais il faut aussi savoir en voir les limites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela ne fonctionne que si je tais ma propre appr\u00e9ciation objective. Je ne dois pas essayer de le ou de la convaincre de regarder le monde exactement comme moi. Ce n\u2019est pas th\u00e9rapeutique. Mais je ne dois pas non plus commencer \u00e0 douter de mon propre univers perceptif. Prenons maintenant le d\u00e9lire de pers\u00e9cution ou la parano\u00efa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019est assez fr\u00e9quent et parfois tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 traiter. C\u2019est comme une tache dont on ne parvient plus \u00e0 se d\u00e9barrasser, ni avec les rem\u00e8des ni avec les m\u00e9dicaments. Quelqu\u2019un qui est convaincu d\u2019\u00eatre atteint par des courants magn\u00e9tiques qui traversent la maison sous le plancher ou par des gaz toxiques qui sortent des prises \u00e9lectriques. Cette personne y croit r\u00e9ellement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eh bien, en tant qu\u2019aidant, on se dit rapidement : soit, mais quelque chose ne va pas ici. La question est alors de savoir si cela perturbe ou non la vie quotidienne et les relations avec les autres. C\u2019est souvent l\u00e0 que le b\u00e2t blesse. Les patients parano\u00efaques sont parfois capables de fonctionner de mani\u00e8re autonome pendant assez longtemps, certes \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de leur monde d\u00e9lirant et souvent dans un grand isolement. Les m\u00e9dicaments ne sont ici que d\u2019une utilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e. Les antipsychotiques peuvent aider \u00e0 contenir les sympt\u00f4mes les plus graves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parfois, ces m\u00e9dicaments sont indispensables, mais ils ne gu\u00e9rissent pas. Je raconte tout cela parce que, dans la population des personnes d\u00e9pendantes que nous connaissons en tant que m\u00e9decins g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes, les psychotiques sont tr\u00e8s nombreux.
