La parole est alors perturb\u00e9e. La personne parle pr\u00e9cipitamment, fait des choix de mots \u00e9tranges ou utilise des n\u00e9ologismes. En cas de confusion plus importante, des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes tels que l\u2019<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00e9cholalie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> peuvent \u00e9galement appara\u00eetre : la personne r\u00e9p\u00e8te les phrases qu\u2019elle a entendues. Il peut aussi y avoir de la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">palilalie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition compulsive de ses propres mots ou phrases, ou de fragments de ceux-ci.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le plus souvent, ces patients se mettent \u00e0 parler plus rapidement, avec un volume sonore moindre, si bien que le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne peut parfois ressembler \u00e0 du b\u00e9gaiement ou \u00e0 du marmonnement. Une <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">glossolalie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> peut \u00e9galement appara\u00eetre, que l\u2019on appelle aussi langage sonore ou langage des langues. Le flot de paroles produit est incompr\u00e9hensible pour les personnes ext\u00e9rieures, ne correspond \u00e0 aucune langue connue et ne comporte pas de syntaxe, mais bien une structure phon\u00e9tique et une forte charge \u00e9motionnelle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le glossolaliste consid\u00e8re pourtant que son discours est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 communiquer. Il trouve p\u00e9nible de ne pas \u00eatre compris. Tu peux \u00e9prouver des \u00e9motions amplifi\u00e9es ou totalement inadapt\u00e9es \u00e0 une situation, comme rire \u00e0 un enterrement. Tu peux aussi devenir soudainement \u00e9mu, apparemment sans raison : tu te mets par exemple tout \u00e0 coup \u00e0 pleurer. Les \u00e9motions peuvent \u00e9galement sembler absentes. Le langage peut s\u2019\u00e9teindre, ce qui nous ram\u00e8ne aux sympt\u00f4mes n\u00e9gatifs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peu de paroles, manque d\u2019initiative, perturbation durable du rythme veille-sommeil, absence d\u2019\u00e9nergie, d\u2019envie ou d\u2019initiative, mouvements \u00e0 peine perceptibles et mimique fig\u00e9e. De tels sympt\u00f4mes n\u00e9gatifs peuvent appara\u00eetre aussi bien dans la schizophr\u00e9nie que dans le trouble bipolaire de type I. Dans des circonstances extr\u00eames, comme la guerre ou des s\u00e9vices graves, des personnes sans ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents psychiatriques peuvent elles aussi devenir psychotiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La plupart des gens, cependant, ne deviennent pas psychotiques, m\u00eame dans des circonstances fortement \u00e9prouvantes, bien qu\u2019ils puissent souffrir de dissociation et de crises d\u2019angoisse. Un petit groupe, mais n\u00e9anmoins significatif, conna\u00eet une pouss\u00e9e psychotique \u00e0 la suite de facteurs ext\u00e9rieurs relativement b\u00e9nins, comme la perte d\u2019un emploi, un divorce, un d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement ou des vacances, alors que d\u2019autres r\u00e9agiraient peut-\u00eatre avec une col\u00e8re et une profonde blessure, sans pour autant sortir de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela est sans aucun doute li\u00e9 \u00e0 une pr\u00e9disposition inn\u00e9e : la pr\u00e9sence en quantit\u00e9 insuffisante ou excessive de certaines substances dans le cerveau, sous l\u2019influence des chromosomes. Certaines psychoses, comme la psychose puerp\u00e9rale, sont parfois provoqu\u00e9es par d\u2019importantes fluctuations hormonales. Une privation extr\u00eame de sommeil et la consommation de drogues peuvent \u00e9galement conduire \u00e0 une psychose. En cas d\u2019intoxication alcoolique, les manifestations psychotiques sont connues sous le nom de delirium.
